Job description
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Repairs Coordinator to join our Repairs team. You’ll be the central point of contact for managing cases related to damp, mould, and emergency hazards, ensuring compliance with Awaab’s Law and delivering a responsive, resident-focused service. The role is hybrid with a minimum of two days in our offices in High Wycombe, Bucks and the remainder at home/remote.

About the Role/team

Working with our friendly team, you’ll triage and allocate works, monitor progress, and maintain accurate case records. You’ll also liaise with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure timely resolution and clear communication throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor damp, mould, and emergency hazard cases
  • Ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law timeframes and issue Summary of Findings to residents
  • Coordinate repair works and ensure jobs are scheduled and completed within legal timeframes
  • Allocate emergency and specialist works efficiently, reducing out-of-hours reliance
  • Optimise engineer schedules for productivity and geographic efficiency
  • Liaise with Repairs Supervisors, Inspectors, and Technicians to ensure positive outcomes
  • Provide regular updates to residents and ensure they understand the process
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update systems in real time
  • Support cross-team functions and assist with KPI tracking and contractor performance
  • Prioritise disrepair cases, asset referrals, and complaints
  • Respond to email enquiries within SLA and support field operatives effectively
What We’re Looking For
Must haves:
  • Experience in customer service, ideally in a call-centre or property maintenance setting
  • Familiarity with housing legislation, especially Awaab’s Law and HHSRS
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mindset
  • Methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and health-related housing risks
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and service call logging systems
  • Ability to critique and improve processes for business benefit
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to satisfaction
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Understanding of housing services and field maintenance operations
  • Experience handling maintenance calls and technician coordination
