The post holder will be responsib le for liaising with patients, carers and relatives for the repair and service of wheelchair mobility aids; as well as assisting in the allocation and coordination of daily workloads. The successful post holder will also share in team activities such as controlling and ordering stock, monitoring and allocating wheelchairs and related accessory stock; also assisting in stock control systems .
This role calls for a post holder that is a self starter and have the capabilities to work alone and as part of our team, with patients and their carers to ensure the delivery of the repairs service and collection of goods and accessories in a timely manner and to a high standard .

Liaising via the telephone with patients, carers and care professionals for the delivery of repairs services, co-ordinating relevant paperwork.
Completing works orders and associated notes to close down completed jobs in a timely fashion.
Coordinating workload and jobs for F ield S ervice E ngineers.
Maintaining and develop efficient goods inwards control, goods inwards approvals and other procedures, either in person or through agreed delegation.
Liaise with service management to develop effective management information reporting systems for all aspects of stock control, stock movements, slow moving or obsolete stock identification and other reports to facilitate optimum stock usage within contractual requirements.
Make full use of computerised stock control and other systems to update records and maintain patient details.
Comply with service requirements of the BCE Management Systems and Bristol NHS Foundation Trust policies and procedures.
Undertake such other reasonable duties, appropriate to the grade, as agreed between the post holder and manager from time to time.

Receive calls from patients, carers and care professionals through telephone and email for the repair of wheelchairs. This will require liaising with the callers to ascertain the fault and agreeing when we will call to repair and fix that problem.
Completing works orders and associated paperwork to close down completed jobs in a timely fashion within the stated KPI's.
Coordinating the workload for F ield S ervice E ngineers to ensure a full day is allocated to patient care .
Maintain an efficient and prompt goods inwards control, including incoming inspection, goods inwards approvals and other procedures, either in person or through agreed delegation.
Liaise with service management an effective management information reporting systems for stock control, stock movements, slow moving or obsolete stock identification and other reports to facilitate optimum stock usage within contractual requirements.
Make full use of stock control and other systems to update records and maintain patient details.
