Five Shift Rotation - Working on a continental shift pattern (7 on 2 off, 7 on 2 off, 7 on 10 days off with a mixture of days night and afters)

Salary: £47,305

Are you a skilled Toolroom professional looking for a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a Mould Shop Repairer to join their team in Rotherham, where you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of mould equipment essential to production.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Repairing mould equipment to precise specifications, including:
  • Mould cavities
  • Blank cavities
  • Neck ring and baffle matching
  • Modifying equipment to improve production efficiency
  • Recording all repair work accurately
  • Ensuring a continuous supply of equipment for production
  • Locating and retrieving mould equipment from storage and factory areas
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Communicating effectively with the Mould Shop Manager
  • Blasting mould and neck equipment as required
  • Providing correct spare equipment for machines
  • Supporting General Operatives when needed
  • Covering during holidays and sickness
  • Performing other reasonable duties within your skill set
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous Toolroom experience (e.g. bench fitting)
  • Apprenticeship trained in Toolroom work (preferred)
  • FLT licence (desirable)
