Job description
Responsibilities
  • Attend site meetings to ensure optimal planning of work, plant and labour resources.
  • Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas.
  • Proactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventable mistakes.
  • Reduce aborts, re-work and traffic management fines.
  • Manage employee training and ensure your direct reports are developed to make their best contribution.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation.
  • A good all-round technical knowledge of the construction & water industry, ideally with some experience team leading or supervision. An NRSWA qualification is desirable.
Qualifications

You'll need to be a confident and clear communicator, able to demonstrate good judgement and a practical, common-sense approach to problem-solving.

Being comfortable with using technology for planning, reporting and communication will also help you succeed in this role.

Finally, a full and valid driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
