Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is hiring a Remote Enforcement Examiner (Non-Technical) in Birmingham. You will analyze complex compliance data, assess tachograph records and driver hours, and engage with operators and stakeholders to deliver enforcement actions.

The role supports DVSA’s remote enforcement activities, delivering online seminars, contributing to continuous improvement, and developing innovative approaches to monitoring and compliance across the transport sector in Great Britain.

As a Remote Enforcement Examiner within DVSA’s Remote Enforcement Office, you’ll play a key role in improving road safety and promoting compliance across the transport sector. Working within a national team, you’ll analyse complex information, assess risks, engage with operators and stakeholders, and support intelligence-led enforcement activities. From delivering online compliance seminars to identifying emerging issues and recommending appropriate interventions, you'll have the opportunity to influence behaviours, drive positive change, and make a real difference to road safety across Great Britain.

You can be based at any of the above locations, however if your chosen location is Yeading/Uxbridge please note: This role is being advertised in Uxbridge, however the contractual base will be Yeading. While estates work is being carried out in Yeading all posts are being temporarily based at Uxbridge. Successful applicants will start with us at our Uxbridge location. Please be aware that all employees will be required to work from the Yeading site once it reopens in 2028.
