Job summary

Syme Solutions Limited is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer to help design, develop, and optimize renewable energy systems across solar PV, wind, battery storage, and energy efficiency projects. You will contribute to feasibility studies, system modelling, and project delivery, with responsibilities spanning specification, performance reporting, and regulatory engagement.

Qualifications

Experience in renewable energy, energy engineering, or electrical engineering.
Strong understanding of solar PV, wind, or energy storage technologies.
Ability to analyse data and use modelling tools.
Experience with CAD or energy modelling software (desirable).

Responsibilities

Analyse technical requirements, produce design specifications, and support installation and commissioning activities.
Provide input into performance modelling, sustainability reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Support the design and modelling of renewable energy systems
Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies
Produce system layouts, specifications, and performance reports
Support installation, commissioning, and ongoing optimisation
Work with contractors, planners, and regulatory bodies
Contribute to sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives
