Job summary

SmartestEnergy Limited is seeking a commercially driven professional to identify, develop, and secure high-value offtake opportunities with producers across Europe. You will structure innovative transactions that drive P&L within defined risk parameters and support renewable certificate management.

In this role, you will combine market insight, analytical ability, and strategic thinking to unlock new opportunities and contribute to the growth of renewable fuels on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Background in the commodities sector, such as power, gas, or environmental markets, preferably in a commercial or risk management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with producers and customers throughout Europe.
• Research and analyse data related to the European and global biofuels market.
• Manage the Trade Agreement process from obtaining approvals through to execution.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met while operating within evolving credit, cash flow, foreign exchange, and risk management frameworks.

Yearly salary 75,000.00 GBP - 100,000.00 GBP

This is a brand new role for us and we will be looking for you to utilise your networks to identify, develop, and secure high-value offtake opportunities with producers across Europe.

You'll combine market insight, analytical expertise, and strategic thinking to unlock new opportunities, support renewable certificate management, and ensure accurate inventory and position reporting.
