Job summary

EDF power solutions seeks a Technical Accountant to strengthen statutory reporting, technical accounting and governance for a growing renewable portfolio. This hybrid role will help ensure accurate financial information to support key business decisions across the UK.

Qualifications

Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, incl. statutory accounts.
Experience supporting external audits.
Strong knowledge of accounting policies and processes.
Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Support annual statutory financial reporting and preparation of financial statements.
Assist with technical accounting calculations, journals and reconciliations.
Support accounting activities for leases, impairments, hedging, accruals and decommissioning provisions.
Work with external auditors and prepare information for audit reviews.
Assist with posting statutory accounting adjustments within the ERP system.
Support tax reporting activities and liaise with external tax advisers.
Collaborate with finance shared services and wider finance teams to maintain high-quality information.
Contribute to governance, risk and control activities within finance.
