Job summary

Augusta & Co, part of the Mizuho Group, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead origination and execution of complex advisory mandates within energy transition. You will mentor junior bankers, support senior bankers, and deliver high-quality financial analysis and client advice across Europe.

The role offers significant exposure to senior industry stakeholders with hybrid working arrangements and a discretionary bonus. You will work with the recruitment team to attract top talent.

Qualifications

• Significant investment banking/consulting experience, preferably in the energy sector.
• Education: top results from a leading university.
• Leadership: ability to lead and coordinate a team of 2-4 junior bankers.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Languages: fluency in English and ideally another European language.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior bankers in outreach and origination efforts with existing and prospective clients.
• Manage and oversee junior resources responsible for the preparation of key transaction marketing materials (IMs, process letters, financial models).
• Coordinate due diligence activities across the execution process with other advisers.
• Advise and support clients in negotiation stages of key transactional documents (SPAs and shareholder agreements).
• Draft deal marketing documents and internal investment presentations.
• Participate in firm-wide marketing, pitches, and relationship-building with clients.
