Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in Lincoln is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join the Lincoln Renal Community Team. You will visit patients at home and deliver high-quality care as part of the multi-professional team.

You must have HCA experience and ideally NVQ3 or equivalent; renal experience is desirable but training will be provided. The role involves daily home visits and transporting yourself for travel within the role.

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience, preferably in renal care.
• Must hold NVQ3 or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend patients at home for monitoring and deliver high-quality care as part of the home care team.
• Provide direct and indirect care under supervision of a registered health care professional.
• Support the delivery of effective care to renal patients and participate in care planning.
