Job summary

The Best Connection in Watton is seeking a Removals Porter to join a busy removals team. You will assist drivers with residential and commercial moves, loading and unloading furniture, and ensuring items are moved safely with excellent customer service.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday with early starts from 06:00. The role offers flexible, temporary work with regular assignments and a varied, active environment. Weekly pay and on-site parking are provided.

Qualifications

• A positive and hardworking attitude.
• Good level of physical fitness as heavy lifting is involved.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Previous removals, warehouse, porter, labouring or furniture delivery experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting drivers with removals.
• Loading and unloading household and office furniture.
• Safely moving items such as sofas, wardrobes, appliances and personal belongings.
• Packing and protecting items for transit when required.
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded securely and efficiently.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Working as part of a team to complete removals safely and on schedule.
