Overview

Removals Operations Manager. Location: Kent. Salary: c£45,000. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Removals Operations Manager to work for our independent Removals client, offering professional removals and storage services in Kent. As Removals Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the drivers and porters, managing each team / crew and their vehicles on a day-to-day basis. You will oversee the operations department ensuring efficient operation and liaising with customers to meet their individual requirements. We are keen to speak to experienced removals professionals who have leadership skills and good knowledge of removals processes, fleet maintenance and transportation regulations. In return, the successful Removals Operations Manager will be offered up to £45,000 in line with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling in UK and EU moves directly with clients
  • Booking ferries / crossings
  • Managing fuel cards
  • Managing toll boxes
  • Managing tachos
  • Allocation of staff and vehicles
  • Booking assistance where required
  • Access checking when required
  • Ordering hire vehicles if required
  • Recruitment of road staff
  • Managing road staff, holidays and ordering uniform
  • Scheduling vehicle maintenance
  • Dealing with breakdowns in UK and Europe (occasional)
