Job summary
Pickfords Move Management Limited is seeking reliable Driver/Porters for full‑time, permanent roles in Poole. You will pack, load, transport and unload customers’ belongings for domestic and commercial moves across the UK, while delivering professional customer service.
Full training is provided with opportunities to progress to LGV/HGV driving. Ideal candidates are physically fit, team‑oriented and flexible, with a valid UK driving license and willingness to travel and stay away from home as
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Excellent customer service and clear communication.
- Positive, flexible and professional attitude.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual duties.
- Reliable, hardworking and team oriented.
- Experience in removals/logistics or similar is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as needed.
- Available for occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Safely pack, load, transport and unload customers’ belongings.
- Complete domestic and commercial removals across the UK.
- Provide a professional, friendly and helpful service.
- Work as part of a removals crew to ensure smooth moves.
- Carry out vehicle and equipment checks as required.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support colleagues and ensure customer satisfaction on every move.
