Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Water Remedials Consultant to support delivery of water remedial works across the UK from a home-based base. You’ll assess remedial requirements, develop scopes of work and prepare quotations while collaborating with engineers and clients.

With a strong background in commercial plumbing or water systems, you’ll manage client relationships, produce RAMS, and ensure works comply with Water Regulations and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial plumbing, water systems or building services.
• Experience in assessing and specifying remedial works, particularly relating to cold water storage tanks and water disinfection.
• Experience producing RAMS, scopes of work and estimates with cost awareness.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills for client relationships.
• UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess reports, site findings and client requirements to identify defects and remedial solutions.
• Prepare scopes of work, RAMS and quotations with labour, materials and plant costs.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with engineers and internal teams.
• Provide technical support on remedial works including tanks, relining, pipework, TMVs and disinfection.
• Ensure works comply with health, water hygiene, Legionella and Water Regulations.
