Taxation seeks an VAT Advisory Manager to lead a portfolio of advisory clients across education, public sector and housing sectors. The role offers hybrid/remote working within the UK and a focus on complex VAT matters and thought leadership.

You will mentor junior staff, drive business development and liaise with HMRC as needed, providing practical VAT guidance and client-focused solutions.

Formación

• 3-5 years VAT advisory experience (education/public sector a focus)
• Strong background in education/public sector VAT work
• CTA, ATT, or HMRC experience (or working towards qualification)
• Deep understanding of partial exemption, non-business apportionment, capital goods scheme

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of VAT advisory clients across education, public sector, and housing focus
• Deliver complex VAT advisory and planning work
• Lead on partial exemption, non-business apportionment, and property-related VAT matters
• Assist clients through HMRC interactions and inspections
• Serve as main point of contact for clients with practical VAT guidance
• Identify advisory opportunities and contribute to business development
• Mentor junior team members and develop thought leadership
• Coordinate across tax and audit teams for joined-up client advice
