Job summary

A leading distributor in high-reliability industries is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and market expansion across the UK. The ideal candidate should have a background in B2B technical sales, showcasing strong skills in engaging with stakeholders and managing a territory independently. This is a remote position, requiring travel to client sites and occasional visits to the headquarters. Candidates with experience in electronics or engineering are desirable. Qualifications

  • Proven B2B technical sales or business development experience.
  • Confident engaging both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and manage a UK-wide territory.
  • Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and deal-closing ability.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Identify & secure new business with OEMs, CEMs, and Tier 1 contractors across the UK.
  • Explore new markets for product and service offerings.
  • Generate leads through cold outreach and networking.
  • Engage customers via site visits and technical presentations.
  • Manage sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
