Job summary

Vintage.com is seeking a Mid-Level .NET Developer to design, build and maintain web applications and back-end services. You’ll work with C#, .NET 9.0, and Blazor to deliver scalable, reliable experiences across customer-facing sites, internal tools and integrations.

You’ll collaborate with Product, QA and colleagues, own modules end-to-end, and contribute to greenfield initiatives while mentoring junior developers. This is a UK-based remote role with optional Leeds office attendance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ hands-on experience developing modern applications with C# and .NET.
• Working knowledge of .NET 9.0 and Blazor, with experience applying them to real products or services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain robust RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with relational databases, including Entity Framework, query writing and optimisation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with xUnit or similar frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services, or a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C# and .NET APIs, web applications and back-end services.
• Build and maintain customer-facing experiences using Blazor or similar front-end technologies.
• Deliver internal applications and dependable integrations with third-party APIs and services.
• Work confidently with relational databases, using Entity Framework and well-designed queries.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using xUnit or similar frameworks.
• Take part in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to refine requirements and estimate work.
• Support QA with test planning, defect investigation and timely bug resolution.
• Lead and contribute to technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
