Job summary

Kyckr Limited is seeking a Development Team Lead to guide a four-person engineering team while remaining a hands-on senior engineer. You will balance coding with leadership to push a modern Registry Hub architecture and AI-assisted workflows, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.

You’ll own end-to-end features and integrations, work across Azure DevOps, and mentor engineers in a remote, UK-based setup with strict reliability and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Weeks of hands-on software development experience with leadership or mentoring.
• Strong hands-on skills in .NET/C# and SQL Server.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
• Experience with Azure services and cloud deployments.
• Hands-on AI-assisted development tooling experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding for most of the time, leading by example in .NET/C# and SQL Server.
• Own architecture, design discussions, and pragmatic trade-offs.
• Line-manage and develop a team of four engineers with regular mentoring.
• Lead product integrations with registry APIs and external data sources.
• Drive the adoption of Claude Code and agentic tooling across the team.
• Collaborate with product/compliance to deliver reliable, secure solutions.
