Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Research Associate for the UK, primarily remote. You will monitor sites, ensure GCP compliance, manage ISF/TMF, and support data integrity across multi-sponsor studies. The role requires frequent travel and strong communication with site staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or RN, with GCP knowledge and solid computer skills, and are prepared to travel up to 75% regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage required travel of up to 75% on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities and close-out visits (performed on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and/or Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice (GPP) and protocol compliance.
• Verifies the process of obtaining informed consent and protects subject confidentiality, assessing safety and data integrity at sites.
• Conducts source document review, data verification, query resolution, and supports data capture and ISF/TMF reconciliation.
• May oversee IP inventory, reconciliation and storage/security verification and ensure proper labeling/release.
• Maintains ISF/TMF accuracy and archiving requirements, supports recruitment and tracking activities.
• Manages site-level activities, budgets, timelines, and travel demands; collaborates with study personnel and provides training as needed.
