Job summary

Not Just Travel is seeking a Travel Operations Manager to join our UK team. Remote or Bournemouth HQ options, permanent full-time role. Lead operations, coach the team and drive service delivery while identifying improvements powered by technology and AI awareness.

You will partner with the Head of Operations to keep the department running smoothly, own day-to-day challenges, and deliver exceptional experience for Personal Travel Consultants and customers.

• Extensive travel operations experience in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a busy travel business.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day travel operations, ensuring the team delivers consistently high standards of service.
• Lead, support and develop colleagues, creating a confident, collaborative and accountable team.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex operational challenges, finding practical solutions and seeing issues through to resolution.
• Work closely with the Head of Operations to manage priorities, make decisions and keep the department running smoothly.
• Identify inefficiencies, challenge existing processes and introduce improvements that make work easier and more effective.
• Explore opportunities to use technology, AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Help ensure every interaction with our Personal Travel Consultants and their customers delivers an exceptional experience.
• Support operational planning, changing priorities and the continued growth of the department.
• Bring fresh thinking, sound judgement and a willingness to get personally involved whenever needed.
