Job summary

Smile Digital is seeking an SEO Executive to join its delivery team on a remote UK-based basis, with occasional quarterly London meetings. You will work across client accounts to produce and optimise content, support technical SEO, build links, and monitor performance using AI-powered workflows.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment.
• Strong written English with copywriting/editing ability.
• Comfort with on-page, technical SEO and content optimisation.
• Experience using Google Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools (Ahrefs/Semrush).
• Familiarity with AI tools for SEO workflows and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Produce SEO content using AI tools and refine for accuracy and tone.
• Conduct keyword research and on-page optimisation (titles, meta, headings).
• Support technical SEO work including schema and crawl issues.
• Assist with link prospecting and outreach support.
• Create content briefs and monitor performance dashboards.
• Prepare monthly reports and monitor AI search results across platforms.
