Qualifications

  • Experience in microwave instrumentation or remote sensing instrumentation.
  • Understanding of calibration and validation of remote sensing payloads.
  • Experience in developing retrieval algorithms for satellite microwave sensors.
  • Advanced programming ability in Python.
  • Proficient with Linux and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-orbit calibration and validation of microwave instruments.
  • Maintain scientific code base for processing microwave sensor data.
  • Lead algorithmic development for atmospheric retrievals.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance sensing capabilities.
  • Analyze large-scale Earth observation datasets.
