Portfolio Group is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join its growing team. This hybrid role involves owning a varied caseload on Income Tax and Corporation Tax enquiries, advising accountancy firms and tax agents, and guiding clients through HMRC investigations.

You will research complex tax issues, draft consultancy reports and HMRC correspondence, and support the team with strategic tax advice while staying compliant with AML requirements.

Qualificações

• Proven experience handling HMRC inquiries and direct tax cases.
• Qualified tax professional or equivalent experience.
• Strong research, report-writing and advisory skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage direct tax enquiry cases from review to resolution with HMRC.
• Research complex tax issues and prepare consultancy reports and opinions.
• Draft HMRC correspondence and advise clients on best approach.
• Provide technical and strategic support to accountants handling HMRC enquiries.
• Coordinate with HMRC and participate in ADR meetings and potential tribunals.
• Review reports and offer second opinions on complex tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal AML requirements and current tax law.
