Job summary

Civica is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in the UK. You will design, develop, and implement scalable software, lead code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while working with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.

You should be proficient in Go and React, with experience in C#, .NET and Angular, and strong in TDD and cloud technologies. You will contribute to DevOps practices, modernise legacy applications, and communicate

Qualifications

• Expertise in Go and React with experience in C#, .NET and Angular is desirable.
• Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers).
• Strong database design/management skills (SQL, NoSQL).
• Analytical problem-solving ability and strong collaborative communication in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience modernising legacy applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and implementation of scalable, secure software applications.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on iterative development. Experience in modernising legacy applications
