Civica is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and implement scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet user needs and business objectives.

The role requires expertise in Go, React, and experience with C#, .NET and Angular, plus strong TDD and cloud/DevOps practices. You will mentor juniors and contribute to modernising legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Expert in Go and React with experience in C#, .NET and Angular.
• Proficient in TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Database design and management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and implement scalable software applications.

be doing: Design, development and implementation of software applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Identify and troubleshoot software issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, code, and processes. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for improvements and new technologies that could benefit the team and projects. Expert in Go, React, experience in C#, .net & Angular would be desired Proficient in Test-Driven development (TDD), automated testing frameworks and methodologies Experienced with cloud technologies

e.g. Azure, AWS In depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containerization, etc.) Expert in database design and management (SQL, NoSQL). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for debugging complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on iterative development. Experience in modernising legacy applications
