Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in the trading domain to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong software development background, deep familiarity with trading systems, and hands-on experience with the FIX protocol.

You will develop, maintain, and optimize trading applications, collaborate with traders and quants, and contribute to high-performance, reliable solutions while operating in a hybrid work environment with occasional business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
6+ years of Python development experience in the trading domain.
Experience with trading systems, market data and order management.
Proficient in Python and related frameworks/libraries.
Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
Implement and support FIX protocol-based solutions for trading systems.
Collaborate with traders, quants, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver software solutions.
Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems for high performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies in trading domain.
