Version 1 Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Python Developer with trading domain experience and FIX protocol expertise to join our dynamic team in a hybrid work arrangement.

You will develop and maintain trading applications in Python, implement FIX-based solutions, collaborate with traders and quants, and optimize systems for performance and reliability while taking advantage of our tech scheme, profit share, private medical and career development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of Python development experience in the trading domain.
• Experience with trading systems, market data, and order management systems.
• Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks/libraries.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
• Implement and support FIX protocol-based solutions for trading systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and stability.
