Job summary

Parexel in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (SCRA) to join our remote team. You will monitor oncology trials, ensure data integrity, patient safety, and regulatory compliance at investigator sites with a sponsor-dedicated model, combining remote and on-site monitoring.

You will collaborate with site staff, investigators, and project teams to support study delivery, ensuring inspections readiness and high-quality outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, RN, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience in oncology trial monitoring with RECIST knowledge.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting on-site and remote monitoring activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with investigator site personnel and study stakeholders.
• Proficiency in the local language and advanced English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with study protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company procedures across assigned sites.
• Evaluate site performance and provide recommendations for site-specific actions, escalating significant issues and supporting corrective action plans.
• Verify that informed consent processes are appropriately conducted and documented for each study participant.
• Assess patient safety and data integrity by identifying protocol deviations, violations, pharmacovigilance concerns, and site-level risks.
• Conduct monitoring activities through remote and on-site methods per the Monitoring Plans.
• Perform source document review and verification for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage protocol deviation reporting, follow-up activities, and timely resolution of data queries.
• Review investigational product accountability, storage, security, dispensing, and related documentation.
• Document monitoring findings and study activities through reports and logs.
• Ensure study activities are performed by appropriately trained and delegated site personnel.
• Maintain tracking of observations, action items, site status, and study progress in required systems.
• Review site documentation and training for ongoing inspection readiness.
• Participate in investigator meetings, sponsor meetings, and project discussions.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and stakeholders to support study objectives.
