Job summary

Jensten is seeking a Business Development Executive for its South West region, focusing on expanding the mid-market commercial portfolio. You’ll operate remotely with optional office visits, supported by a prospect list and high-value memberships.

Role offers competitive commission, autonomy, and the chance to work with experienced commercial executives. You’ll develop new business across the South of the UK while maintaining regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Commercial insurance sales and client management.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) – desirable.
• Experience with Acturis – desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth in the commercial sector.
• Work from a prospect list and generating your own leads and opportunities, applying an entrepreneurial approach.
• Leverage memberships with key organisations to network and build relationships.
• Present tailored insurance and risk management solutions to secure new business.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients virtually or in person.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.
