Job summary

A global ICT recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to take ownership of a customer's security infrastructure. This mainly remote role requires strong experience in supporting various technologies, including Checkpoint and Cisco networking solutions. Occasional travel to Warwick and other data centers may be required. An active SC clearance is preferred, but candidates eligible for clearance will be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in supporting Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5 and knowledge of Cisco networking solutions.
• Understanding of wireless technologies and Cisco IPT.
• Experience with VPN Technologies including IPsec, SSL VPN, and DMVPN.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of the security infrastructure estate.
• Senior point of reference for all security-related projects.
• Design of customer networks and technical support for changes.

Skills

Security engineering experience

Proficient with Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, and F5

Knowledge of Cisco networking

Understanding of Wireless Technologies

Experience with VPN Technologies
