Job summary

Join Version 1 in the UK as a hands-on Security Consultant, where you will assess, design, and improve security controls in cloud environments and applications. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience identifying and mitigating application and API security risks.
• Hands-on experience with log onboarding and alert triage.
• Understanding of identity and access management principles.
• Experience implementing data classification and encryption.
• Ability to assess infrastructure risks.
• Experience in threat detection engineering and incident triage.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state security maturity and identify control gaps.
• Lead security architecture reviews across various domains.
• Consult on security strategy and risk reduction.
• Design secure cloud landing zones and identity models.
• Partner with teams to embed security into delivery pipelines.
• Support incident response readiness and post-incident activities.
• Contribute to security standards and client-facing deliverables.
