Our client designs, engineers, and manufactures patented fiberoptic transceiver and power supply hardware. Their patented, revolutionary products are sold through exclusive dealers, distributors, and VARs nationwide. They are committed to helping low-voltage data networking contractors deliver full fiberoptic networks with reduced costs and labor hours.

We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to take over new and existing dealer support from the Owner. This role is estimated at 30% Account Management, 50% Business Development, and 20% strategic direction and planning with the Owner. This role will focus on working existing leads, supporting their nationwide dealer network, and strengthening relationships with distributors. The Account Executive will also manage onboarding scheduling for new dealers by coordinating directly with the owner\'s calendar.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing dealer and distributor accounts.
  • Work assigned leads to convert prospects into active dealers.
  • Support nationwide distributors by providing product knowledge, order support, and business growth strategies.
  • Schedule and coordinate onboarding sessions for new dealers through the owner\'s calendar.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Hubspot and/or ZohoCRM preferred) to track pipeline activity, customer interactions, and account performance.
  • Achieve sales targets by maintaining consistent outreach, follow-up, and relationship building.
  • Provide feedback to management on dealer needs, distributor trends, and market opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical hardware sales (networking, IT, or related industry preferred).
  • Proven history in startups, including working independently to grow a book of business.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Hubspot and/or ZohoCRM strongly preferred).
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills, i.e. able to create social connections with new and existing dealers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in the English language, including familiarity with U.S.A. social customs.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to customer engagement.
