Job summary

Translation Empire PK is urgently seeking freelance Russian interpreters and translators based in Wakefield. This role offers flexible hours and competitive rates, allowing you to work in various settings, including the NHS and local authorities.

Applicants must be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be 21 or older. The position requires excellent interpreting skills, confidentiality, and an understanding of legal and health services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence.
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting.
• Deal with highly confidential information.
• Liaise between the service user and service provider.
