NHS Orkney is seeking locum GPs for the Mainland Out of Hours service and Isles Network of Care across the Orkney archipelago. This role involves providing 24/7 urgent care to the isles in a remote community setting, with support from a team of experienced colleagues.

Applicants should have GMC Registration with Licence to Practice and the BASICS Scotland course or relevant emergency care experience. PVG checks are required; video and phone interviews may be used.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold GMC Registration with Licence to Practice.
• BASICS Scotland Pre Hospital Emergency Care Course or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver emergency care in community settings.

Aufgaben

• Provide locum GP cover for Orkney Mainland OOH and Isles Network.
• Respond to urgent cases using standardised protocols.
• Collaborate with resident clinicians on the isles via Teams/WhatsApp for case discussion and support.
• Maintain GMC Licence and PVG clearance throughout the assignment.
