Qualifications

• Educationally approved post CCT fellowship training in Anaesthesia in remote and rural settings.
• Period of 12 months supported working, followed by 12 months minimum commitment (24‑month post).
• Training includes paediatrics, obstetrics, procedural sedation in isolated sites, regional anaesthesia, critical care stabilisation and transfer.
• Applicants must be NTN holders, or CCT holders, or trained specialists from outside the UK eligible for GMC Specialist Register.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills to work in remote and rural settings including paediatrics, obstetrics and regional anaesthesia.
• Support in perioperative medicine and critical care stabilisation and transfer in collaboration with EMS.
• Opportunity for mainland hospital rotations and progression to on‑call experience during both years.
