Revolut Ltd. is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (SMF4) to join our UK Bank. You will oversee the risk management framework, ensuring identification, measurement and management of material risks while enabling sustainable growth.

Reporting to the UK CEO and Group CRO, you will be a key member of the UK Bank's leadership. Responsibilities include owning the risk appetite framework, monitoring adherence, assisting ExCo, providing independent assurance, leading ICAAP and stress testing, and serving as

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in risk within regulated or digital banks.
• Background in both financial and non-financial risk.
• Experience setting up and managing first- or second-line risk functions.
• Proven ability to present to boards and risk committees and engage with FCA/PRA.

Responsibilities

• Own the risk appetite framework and collaborate with the global Risk function.
• Monitor adherence to risk appetite and escalate breaches.
• Assist ExCo in identifying and assessing risks from current and proposed activities.
• Provide independent assurance on key operational risks.
• Lead the ICAAP process and oversee enterprise stress testing.
• Act as primary risk contact for FCA and PRA.
• Provide guidance on regulatory change and implementation strategy.
• Develop robust business continuity plans and ensure testing.
• Develop and monitor local risk registers with embedded controls.
• Maintain second line of defence and challenge first-line management.
• Review outstanding risk issues from audits/regulator visits.
