Mindrift is seeking a Python Data Scraping Engineer to join the Tendem project on a part-time remote basis. You will own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, delivering clean, structured datasets (CSV/JSON) while tackling dynamic content and API integration.

Requirements include 3+ years in data engineering or web scraping, strong Python skills (BeautifulSoup/Selenium), and English proficiency. This freelance role estimates 10–20 hours weekly during active phases.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development (required).
• Strong Python web scraping experience with dynamic content (JS/AJAX) and APIs via proxies.
• Experience delivering structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets) and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring coverage and accurate delivery of structured datasets.
• Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation and task execution.
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic and interactive sources and adapt to site changes.
• Enforce data quality standards with validation checks and cross-source checks.
• Scale scraping operations for large datasets with batching or parallelization and monitor failures.
