Job summary

Second Nature is seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join its Specialist Weight Management Service. The role delivers psychological therapy to people living with obesity via video consultations and in-app messaging, within a multidisciplinary team, and supports patients to make sustainable lifestyle changes.

This fully remote, full-time fixed-term contract requires some evenings and Saturdays to support NHS contracts.

Qualifications

• Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) with weight management/obesity experience.
• Experience delivering group-based programmes, confident facilitating sessions digitally.
• Solid understanding of obesity and weight stigma and related challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to allocate patients to suitable treatments.
• Deliver remote psychological interventions via video calls and in-app messaging.
• Attend MDT meetings and clinical supervision; manage clinical risk.
• Maintain CPD and comply with confidentiality and data protection.
