RS UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal Data Architect to define and deliver the Enterprise Data Platform architecture built on Snowflake. You will lead a team of Data Architects, govern data modelling and pipelines, and align with IS&T strategies globally.

You will shape the platform roadmap, manage scalability and costs, and drive AI-driven efficiencies while partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-value analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

3+ years in a senior/lead/principal data architecture role.
Strong expertise with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
Hands-on with modern data tooling (dbt, Dagster, Airbyte).
Deep knowledge of data modelling and ELT/ETL patterns.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve target data architecture for the Enterprise Data Platform.
Shape and deliver the data platform roadmap with IS&T alignment.
Provide architectural oversight for data modelling, pipelines and transformation.
Ensure scalability, performance, cost efficiency, data quality, security and governance.
Lead major platform transformations, migrations and AI-driven initiatives.
Build and develop a high-performing Data Architects team and mentor staff.
