(Remote) Practitioner Psychologist - Neurodevelopmental Assessment

Main duties of the job

What you’ll do as a Practitioner Psychologist at KT Healthcare

  • Conduct high‑quality autism assessments using gold standard assessment tools such as ADOS and ADI‑R.
  • On average we look for 2 ADOS or 1 ADI‑R assessment per day, with dedicated admin time allocated.
  • Deliver assessments for children, young people and adults.
  • Use your clinical expertise and judgement, providing accurate diagnosis and post‑diagnostic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a highly‑skilled MDT and support complex MDT discussions.
  • Produce well‑written clinical reports.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and recommendations for clients.
  • Contribute to the development of the service.
  • Be flexible and discuss any areas you are passionate about to involve yourself.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements

  • Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, Occupational, Education Psychology or equivalent.
  • Registration with HCPC.
  • Formal training and experience delivering ADOS and ADI‑R assessments, ideally online.
  • Experience assessing both children and adults.
  • High level of written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM‑5 criteria.
