Job summary

A leading underwriting firm in the UK is seeking an Operations Lead to enhance operational processes and ensure service excellence for MGAs. The successful candidate will coordinate daily activities, lead onboarding, and work closely with outsourced teams. Strong experience in insurance operations and excellent communication skills are essential. This is a remote position with some in-office activities required annually.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in insurance operations, ideally within an MGA, insurer, or delegated authority environment.
• Good understanding of insurance operational processes including credit control, reconciliation, and agency management.
• Experience coordinating work with outsourced or offshore service teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day operational activities.
• Take ownership of MGA onboarding and ensure processes are implemented.
• Coordinate and manage task workflows to meet service level agreements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with MGAs, internal departments, and third-party providers.
