Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust (WHH) is seeking a CSS Accountant on a fixed-term basis to provide high-quality financial information, analysis and advice to clinical support services. You will coordinate budget setting, monitoring, reporting and support the development of the Assistant Business Accountant.

The role includes supervision and training responsibilities and requires NHS finance experience.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the main aspects of NHS Finance and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the production of monthly management accounts, analyse variances and prepare year-end forecasts for Clinical Support Services.
• Provide financial advice to budget holders and clinicians to explain performance and manage budgets.
• Coordinate annual budget setting, attend meetings, and support service development through business cases and cost improvement plans.
