Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a data infrastructure engineer to design scalable data systems and ML feature platforms. You will build production services, data pipelines, APIs, and developer tools to empower ML engineers and data scientists.

We expect 3+ years in data infrastructure with hands-on experience in Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes, and big data stacks. This is a remote-friendly role open to the UK and Netherlands, focused on reliability, performance, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data infrastructure/platform engineering or ML infra.
• Hands-on experience building production services, data pipelines, APIs, or tooling.
• Experience with distributed data/compute systems like Spark, Kafka, Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data infrastructure for large-scale feature and training set computation.
• Develop frameworks for batch and real-time features with reliability and scalability.
• Build governance features: lineage, validation, drift detection, monitoring, versioning.
• Partner with ML engineers to integrate feature engineering into ML production.
• Support agentic ML workflows including automated feature discovery and lifecycle mgmt.
• Improve observability, performance, reliability, and cost optimization.
