Job summary

The Smarter Web Company Plc is seeking a Marketing Executive (Content & Events) to drive content, media and events across the group. This remote-friendly role with occasional hybrid work in Nailsea, Bristol reports to the Head of Marketing and offers a strong blend of creative and strategic responsibilities.

You will develop content across channels, manage events, support paid campaigns and SEO, and collaborate with external agencies to uphold high visual quality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in marketing, content or related field.
• Event organisation and liaison experience.
• iPhone‑level social photography/videography.
• Experience using Canva and Photoshop (Adobe suite a bonus).
• Experience implementing marketing and content plans; SEO/pay advertising desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule social media content across X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
• Produce and edit video content for social channels.
• Assist with marketing databases management.
• Schedule podcast appearances and related activity.
• Coordinate on-site and virtual events with venues and partners.
• Develop content plans and adjust across channels including website content.
• Support paid advertising campaigns and paid social activity.
• Assist SEO content development to grow organic visibility.
• Collaborate with Head of Marketing to follow marketing plans and KPIs.
• Maintain on-brand design and guidelines across output.
