Placements24 is assisting a global Oil & Gas leader in recruiting a Lead Reservoir Engineer for a fully remote, world-class team. The role focuses on technical leadership, complex reservoir simulations, and development planning across global assets.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in reservoir characterization, simulation, economic evaluation, and EOR project execution, with strong remote collaboration and mentorship skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive reservoir engineering experience, with leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, INTERSECT, CMG), history matching, and forecasting.
• Strong background in reservoir characterization, petrophysics, and geological modeling integration.
• Experience developing and executing EOR projects.
• Excellent leadership and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical evaluation and development planning for multiple reservoir assets.
• Oversee the construction and execution of complex reservoir simulations.
• Develop and implement optimized reservoir management and EOR strategies.
• Conduct in-depth economic analysis and reserve estimations to support investment decisions.
• Mentor and guide a team of reservoir engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Collaborate with geologists, drilling, and production engineers across geographies.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies in reservoir engineering.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
