Job description
Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting our services across the Midlands. Locations will include but not limited to:

  • Stafford
  • Stoke-On-Trent
  • Birmingham
  • There will be regular visits to our HMP and secondary care services in the Midlands. There will also be occasional travel to High Wycombe to assist with kit builds/deliveries and kit disposals. On top of this, there will also be times when support cover and project tasks will be required at our Secondary Care and HMP sites in other parts of the South and North of England.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of hardware components and software issues in a prison environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware incidents, solutions, and preventive measures.
  • Provide timely and effective communication to clients and stakeholders regarding issue resolution progress.
  • Adhere to security protocols and regulations governing correctional facilities.
Qualifications
  • Technical proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a secure and controlled setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and compliance requirements in prison facilities is a plus.
