Job summary

Social Finance is seeking a Workforce Lead to support the IPS workforce across the North of England. This is a remote, full-time role with some travel, salary £36,000, and a hands-on remit working with IPS services, regional teams and NHS England partners.

The role focuses on recruitment, workforce planning and stakeholder engagement to strengthen teams and help transform lives through employment.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare or related settings.
• Solid understanding of IPS and workforce needs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage competing priorities.
• Experience using data and reports to evidence activity.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the North of England.
• Develop recruitment and workforce planning approaches with providers.
• Lead shortlisting, interviews, assessments and hiring recommendations.
• Coordinate recruitment during expansion plans and funding changes.
• Build relationships with IPS services, ICB Leads, NHS England Regional Leads.
• Collaborate with Workforce Manager and IPS Grow colleagues to address barriers.
• Attend regional and national meetings and share insights.
• Ensure onboarding and training align with IPS Grow standards.
• Collect and analyse workforce data and report to management.
• Identify retention challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Signpost training resources and contribute to tools/guidance.
• Assist with communications including newsletters and reports.
