Job summary

Certain Advantage is seeking a Structures Estimator to develop pricing for UK structural projects with a hybrid/remote pattern and occasional travel to Northfleet or Chesterfield client sites. The role emphasizes developing tenders, pricing, and collaboration with operations to drive successful project wins.

Applicants should bring estimating experience in construction or civil engineering, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple tenders.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction or civil engineering projects.
• Commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with steel and concrete repair or maintenance works is desirable.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with clients.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tenders.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimating activities from enquiry through to job win or close out on a range of structural projects.
• Prepare tenders, proposals and offer letters based on client requirements.
• Attend site visits and client meetings to support accurate pricing.
• Produce tender documentation including basic programmes and health and safety information.
• Work closely with operations and commercial teams; prepare handover information for awarded projects.
