Job summary

Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a nationwide Health & Safety and Employment Law consultancy with offices in Leeds. We are recruiting an enthusiastic Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing workload and service nationwide.

The role involves visiting clients to perform audits, fire risk assessments (including residential properties), site inspections, risk assessments, policy documentation, and safety training.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is mandatory.
• Level 4/5 fire risk assessment qualification preferred.
• Residential fire risk assessment experience is advantageous.
• IOSH/IFE/IFSM membership would support your application.
• P402 asbestos surveying certificate is a plus.
• Full UK driving licence is essential; car allowance provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Health & Safety audits and reviews of safe working practices.
• Carry out Fire Risk Assessments across a range of properties, including residential.
• Perform independent contract site inspections and risk assessments.
• Assist with policy documentation and method statements.
• Deliver safety training courses to clients and staff.
• Provide competent H&S advice and client support.
• Assist with SSIP accreditation applications and tender documentation.
