Job summary

Recruitz is seeking an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to deliver building materials across London and surrounding areas. You will perform daily checks, operate a HIAB with remote grab, and ensure loads are secured for safe transport.

The role requires professional customer interaction and accurate delivery paperwork. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence, HIAB Remote Brick Grab certification, Digital Tachograph Card, and an in-date CPC.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C) required.
• HIAB certification with Remote Brick Grab essential.
• Digital Tachograph Card valid.
• In-date Driver CPC required.
• Fluent English and good team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and DVSA compliance (AM/PM checks).
• Deliver building materials safely using a HIAB remote brick grab.
• Ensure all loads are secured safely prior to transportation.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
